Your birth chart is a map of the earthen sky at the exact moment you took your first breath. It’s a blueprint for your soul’s coding, etched in spacetime. But if you don’t know your moment of birth, or only have a rough estimate, the chart is incomplete, and sometimes even harmful if you are depending on the information therein. The rising degree, for instance, changes every four minutes. Critical planetary placements become uncertain. The best techniques available in astrology, such as AstroCartography and Vibrational Astrology are completely impossible without it.
Without an accurate birth time, you can’t truly know your chart.
Over the years, I have encountered this problem many times with clients, and navigated them through the process of birth time rectification. It happens so frequently that I made this page to tell you all about this service.
How Birth Time Rectification Works
Birth time rectification is a forensic astrological process. Using significant life events and a known date and place of birth, I work backward to determine the most likely time you were born.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: You provide what you know
Your birth date (required)
Your birth place (city/town required)
Your best estimate of birth time — a 1-to-12 hour window is ideal. The smaller the window, the more precise the result.
Step 2: You share key life events
Using the list below, provide me with specific dates (not weeks or months) of major events in your life. Firm dates are essential.
Step 3: I crunch the data
Using the Sirius astrology software (the pinnacle of its field), I test every minute within your time window against your life events. Each minute receives a point score based on how accurately planetary transits and progressions align with your provided dates. I keep my software completely offline, so all of your shared information will remain confidential.
Step 4: You receive your results
I will provide you with:
A point score for each minute within your window
A line graph visualizing how the scores trend across your time window
My recommended birth time based on the highest-scoring minute

How accurate is birth time rectification?
With a small time window (1–4 hours) and 5–10 well-dated life events, rectification is typically accurate within 5–10 minutes. With a wider window or fewer events, accuracy decreases. I will always provide you with a score graph so you can see the confidence level yourself.
What if I have no estimate of what time I was born?
That’s fine. Just tell me that. I will still work with your birth date and place, though the process will take longer and the result will have a wider margin of uncertainty.
What if my life events don’t have exact dates?
The more precise you can be, the better. If you only know the month or year for some events, then those events won’t be included in our data points. Prioritize finding exact dates for your most significant memories (check old emails, photos, social media posts, or ask family members).
How long does the process take?
Once I have everything I need, I should be able to come back to you with the info in a day or two.
Do I need to know astrology to use this service?
Not at all. I will provide you with a recommended birth time. You can then use that time to generate your birth chart on any astrology website or with any astrologer of your choice.
